Albemarle County – School Repair Report

Walton Middle School suffered both structural and cosmetic damages due to the earthquake that hit central Virginia in 2011. Engineering Solutions provided services to determine the extent of the structural damage on the building, and how to repair the damaged areas in terms of a repair report. Some of the structural issues encountered were large cracks in the concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls surrounding the Gymnasium, as well as some mezzanines. The damaged areas are currently (June 2015) being repaired.
