Alvey Conveyor Access Catwalks

Engineering Solutions was asked to design and assist with implementation of the installation of new access points to the alvey conveyor system in order to enable easier maintenance. We worked on five areas: line merge section, shipping area, column platform, motor access, and line access port.

For the shipping area, we connected the platforms with a catwalk system to allow full access to the conveyor. The structural system is precast double tee. We connected hangers to this system.
