One of the first jobs that Engineering Solutions landed back in 2004 was working for Morningstar Foods in Mount Crawford, VA, in a design-build project that set the wheels in motion for creating one of the largest plants in the Shenandoah Valley.

When Engineering Solutions first started on the plant, it included about 128,000 square feet. Now, the facility is 602,000 square feet. Over the years, Engineering Solutions has been involved in the structural engineering design, industrial design, and project management for projects that included several large additions and numerous small projects. The large additions included all areas of the plant from unloading areas, processing and production, palletizing, and cold storage. Small structural projects included fall protection, mezzanines, and new rooftop unit support.

Since Engineering Solutions has been involved with this facility, we have seen the name changed several times from Morningstar Foods to WhiteWave Foods and currently Danone. While the name of the plant may have changed over the years, the exceptional service that Engineering Solutions provides has not. Danone sales exceeded $30B worldwide in 2019 and employs more than 100,000 people in 55 countries.
