Transformer Tank Shoring
Through a local fabricator, Dominion Energy reached out to our office to verify the adequacy of a proposed temporary shoring scheme in response to a failing support for a transformed oils storage tank. Due to the time sensitive nature of the project, we worked directly with the Dominion Energy site staff to gather photos and dimensions so that we could quickly assess the mode of failure as well as come up with a more efficient shoring solution. Our solution was implemented within days of our office being alerted and continues to perform well.
