Engineering Solutions team members Christina Merlino and Brian Koerner used a 135-foot personnel lift to access the tower and turbine at James Madison University. The project involved reviewing the existing tower to inspect the condition of the structure. Inspections take place biannually and anytime after significant wind events. Brian and Christina followed the guidelines in Section 8 of the Installation Manual by Bergey Windpower Co. to ensure the structure meets necessary standards.
