JMU’s Salt Shed

Engineering solutions provided the structural engineering services for one of the first tensioned fabric structures submitted to BCOM – the commonwealth of Virginia’s bureau of capitol outlay management. The project provides an area for salt storage and allows a fully loaded semi truck and trailer to dump the load inside the building. We teamed with Blue Ridge Architects and James Madison University to provide a cost effective solution. Harrisonburg Construction built the project.
