Engineering Solutions does more than just provide structural engineering services. For the new 70-acre site, Engineering Solutions is providing the project management services for multiple projects all occurring at the same time. A large project such as this is overwhelming for most companies. Having an independent third party helps guide the owner through the contractor selection process, budgeting, and scheduling.

With the team approach, this is the first project in the City of Harrisonburg that has proceeded through an expedited permitting process where the foundations were being poured in the field before the final building permit was issued. This team approach will cut the schedule down to under 10 months compared to a traditional 18-month project.

These projects include a 90,000 square foot processing plant complete with two spiral freezers, a state-of-the-art processing line for chickens, and packaging line for raw product. Other buildings on the same campus include a new waste water treatment plant, a scale for weighing fully loaded tractor trailers, a 10,000 square foot storage building, and a 10,000 square foot shade structure. Future plans include a large office building in addition to multiple phases of additions.
